Anchored conjures thoughts of grounded, firm, rooted, security and stability. These were the words that came to mind when choosing by business name.
Anchor Symbolism
The anchor is a symbol for both hope and steadfastness. When a ship raises its anchor it is leaving on a new adventure and when it drops the anchor it is securing itself.
I always want to encourage my clients to open themselves up to new experiences, to develop a sense of certainty and trust within themselves.
So, Why Anchored?
It demonstrates the hope that I have for the people that I work with. For them to work towards feeling secure, stable and grounded.
That through their growth and healing that they begin to feel empowered, feel in tune with themselves and the values they hold ready to set sail into the next stage of their life.
When an anchor is dropped it creates an element of safety; this is what I want to create for all clients – a safe place.
The anchor is a symbol and a metaphor for the counselling service and space that I hope to provide.
