What you can expect from me as a therapist.
“Embrace the freedom to be unfiltered, to express your authentic self without judgment.”
I am equal parts professional and compassionate with a dash of sarcasm and humour. It’s important to me to make your experience of therapy relatable and enjoyable.
I have an incredibly cute and furry co-therapist Naya, she is a sweet and intuitive Cavoodle. Whilst she is not a trained therapy dog, she does love meeting new people and is well-behaved (most of the time).
A little about me.
First and foremost, I am a wife and a proud member of the Queer community. I’m a fur mama and love spoiling and lavishing love on little Naya.
I occasionally find myself indulging in too much TikTok, I love building LEGO and watching as many cult documentaries as I can.
I’m an avid cricket fan, INFJ, Enneagram 4, musical theatre lover and yes, I have a guilty pleasure for cheesy reality shows.
The way I work is a reflection of who I am.
I am committed to creating a therapy space where you can freely explore your inner world and develop a sense of self that is authentic to you. These values are what guide my approach as a therapist:
- Humour – I firmly believe in the power of laughter to heal, connect, and bring lightness to even the most challenging situations. You can expect a warm and supportive environment where we can share a laugh, find moments of levity, and use humour as a tool for growth and healing.
- Authenticity – I want to be real and genuine with you, creating a space where you can feel safe to be your true self. I try to create an atmosphere of trust and openness, where you can freely express your thoughts, emotions, and concerns without fear of judgment. I am here to listen, validate, and support you on your journey and will meet you where you are; providing guidance and tools to help you navigate life’s challenges.
- Collaboration – You are the expert in your life; I work with you to uncover your strengths, explore your values, and find solutions that align with your worldview. I will always honour your personal autonomy and boundaries.
- Empathy – I believe in a persons inherent worth and value in the world. You will never be seen as broken in my space and you will always be deserving of compassion and support. My hope is always to hold space for you while you share your pain, heartbreak and grief; and for you to know that I am right there with you.
