What Is Supervision?
Clinical supervision is a requirement for counsellors, coaches, psychologists, and other helping professions to maintain registration with their professional bodies. It’s not just about ticking a box, supervision provides a safe space to reflect on your work, process challenging cases, and grow your skills so you can offer the best support possible. It’s about ongoing learning, self-awareness, and accountability and helping people in caring roles to stay grounded and effective.

- Individual and Group Supervision at Anchored Counselling Services is provided by Sam Sellers.
- Level 2 member of the Australian Counselling Association and is a Recognised Supervisor.
- Held in person for those in Goulburn, NSW, and online Australia and New Zealand wide via a secure online platform.
- Offered on an ongoing monthly basis. (If you are looking for one-off, check out consultation details below)
- Sessions are 50min in length
- $165 + GST
- Group Supervision all sessions are 90 minutes.
- $95 + GST per person (minimum 3 people and maxed at 8)
Why On A Monthly Basis?
Clinical supervision isn’t a “one and done” kind of thing, it’s an ongoing process because the work we do with people is complex and ever-changing. Meeting monthly helps keep the connection strong between sessions, so challenges don’t pile up and important insights don’t slip through the cracks. It creates a consistent space to reflect on your experiences, get timely feedback, and adjust your approach before stress or burnout take hold.
Think of it like regular tune-ups for your professional wellbeing and skillset, the small, steady check-ins add up to big improvements in how you show up for your clients and yourself. Of course, one-off consultations are available if you need a quick problem-solve or fresh perspective (details below).
One-Off Consultations
If you already have regular supervision but need focused support on a specific challenge, one-off consultations can be just what you need. These 50-minute sessions, priced at $195 + GST, are designed for practitioners seeking expert input in specialised areas such as religious trauma, faith deconstruction, spiritual abuse, high-control or cult dynamics, and working with LGBTQIA+ clients.
Whether you’re navigating a complex client situation, unpacking layers of trauma, or needing fresh strategies for working with these sensitive topics, these sessions offer targeted guidance without the commitment of ongoing supervision. It’s a chance to pause, get clarity, and deepen your understanding on the issues that matter most to your practice.
